Scammers are at it again… There is a new trap to beware of as scammers have been calling random numbers, claiming to be from Medicare and trying to get your Medicare number to send you a new card. Of course, there is no new card; they just want to get your Medicare number so they can steal your information. Never provide your personal information to anyone unless you initiated the call.
It’s important to remember that Medicare will never call you directly unless you have called them with a request. If you get an unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from Medicare, it’s a scam!
